[Asterisk-Dev] ChanIsAvail() works for SIP?

Hi All,

Sorry that I am not sure if I shall post this question
to Dev or Users.

I just tried to use ChanIsAvail() to detect if a SIP
channel is available. It looks ok while the SIP peer
is registered(available) and
unregistered(unavailable). However, it is always
available while I tried to detect a SIP peer which
does NOT exist fundementally. I expect it shall return
none and jump to priority n+101.

It looks to me that this function probably is not
designed for SIP but ZAP only. Does anybody really
give it a trial comprehensively for both SIP and ZAP?

Does it work for SIP? Does it work properly for Zap?

Regards,
-chuan
