No, v1-2 and v1-2-0 were identical at the time 1.2.0 was released, but
v1-2 now contains any changes done to the 1.2 branch since that time,
whereas v1-2-0 doesn't. When 1.2.1 is released, v1-2-1 will become the
state of v1-2 at that specific time. And so on.
