[Asterisk-Dev] Sorting the dialplan

I understand from reading the Wiki that the dialplan is sorted in 
alphabetical order, so _44. would come before _447. for instance.

Is there any plans to offer an option that sorts a context by some other 
means, for instace, by looking for the longest matching prefix, or is 
there some other way to achieve this?

The solution proposed in the Wiki - breaking up a context with include 
statements - doesn't seem practical for thousands of numeric extensions.
