I also ahd an issue with the way Asterisk sends digits. The ATA's and
gateways we're using also don't like the way Asterisk sends digits. I've
patched ast_rtp_senddigit to send it according to what we needed to make
it work, but this can easily be made more general. I've never submitted
it because the current code is so "different" to what I see that it must
have been written on purpose this way.
