HI,
Since we are talking about h323, I'm having a problem too in FreeBSD.
I'm using asterisk-1.0.7.
I can make call to PSTN from sip phone using chan_h323 driver.
However I can't make call from h323 phone.
My config is:
SIP phone<->ASTERISK<->GNUGK<->h323 phone
Asterisk log says something like can't find extention and goes to
default s extention.
In TODO it is already stated as a problem.
I tried to compile chan_oh323 driver in FreeBSD but no result. Outputs
a lot of error.
Mr. Manousos suggested me to post this issue to bugtracker of oh323.
It seems like above 2 is not very stable, at least there are some
problems, one can't compile on BSD platform, another one can't pass
call from h323.
And now new h323 driver comes. I'm very confused, because there are
three h323 channel drivers right now. Which h323 driver to use? Which
one is more tested and stable?
How can I make call from h323 phone to SIP phone?
I didn't get any response from this list before, but it seems like
there are a lot of wise/experienced people who knows about h323
driver.
I really appreciate if somebody can point me to the right direction.
thanks a lot,
Ganbold
