[Asterisk-Dev] Sip Registration Bug?

Congratulations.
This is one of the most glaring bugs of Asterisk SIP, but gets dismissed 
perpetually.
The fault is not the registration code, per se, but the way chan_sip 
matches incoming calls to
configured peers. It makes no sense and  is completely broken.
