[Asterisk-Dev] is this a bug?

What part of "THIS IS NOT A CRASH" do you not understand?  If you run
asterisk with -c you run it in the foreground thus it doesn't detach.  You
press ctrl-c it exits, not crashes... but exits.  Say it with me E X I T!
