This is precisely the problem, and it is apparent that you don't "get 
it". If you don't want new users, don't advertise your project. Take 
down the Wiki, take down the asteriskpbx.com website, remove the 
lists.digium.com archive search.

I don't have a problem with this attitude, actually. It's open-source, 
"free as in freedom".
