[Asterisk-Dev] how to use ast_channel_setwhentohangup to allocate maximum time for call

hello all

i want to use ast_channel_setwhentohangup to set call
max time. i have answered the call after this answer
call i want to use
ast_channel_setwhentohangup(chan,30). but it is not
working properly.

i want to set maximum time for call so that after this
30 seconds asterisk will drop call(send bye to
connected user agents).
