There is discussion literally happening right now on the DevConf call 
about API stability.  It is possibly in the works from what these guys 
are talking about.  I think they are aiming for API versioning - kind of 
like Apache.  Again - this is discussion only at this point, it'll be a 
while before this makes it into reality.
