I was able to compile asterisk-1.0-RC2 using bison (GNU Bison) 1.35, which is the most current version available via Fink (I use the FinkCommander front end to Fink, but this shouldn't affect the available version numbers. I checked and Fink said it was up to date.)

It would be great if someone could add this note to the README.
