[Asterisk-Dev] Getting the voicemail to play audio to the user while they record their message

I want to be able to play an audio file to the user while they record their
message to the mailbox. What do I need to do to do this?

Has anyone tried this before?

Since this is open source I assume I could modify the source to accomplish
this or write a module for it but since I am a new Linux user (+3 months)
the undertaking could be beyond my ability.

But with some guidance I could probably achieve it.

Is this part of the voicemail spec?

Any help would be appreciated.
