I read the ticket and tried this on Fedora and CentOS however, there are a few things you'll need to do.

1.  Copy the issue description and resolution to the commit message.
    Unless you're viewing the commit message in a browser and can 
    click through to the issue, you'l lhave no idea what's going on.

2.  Test on the other supported platforms and list them here.

We've had some issues with the configure process lately so we need to be extra careful that we don't break something.

Fedora 22-23, CentOS 6-7, Debian 6-7, Ubuntu 14-16, FreeBSD 9-10

I know it's a pain but we just got it stable (we think).
