I was not about concrete implementations but example scenarios. or stated differently: I do not understand what you mean with 'do not handle it (well)'.

I have problems to extract any proposal from your comment 'properly documented': Do you want me to add a LOG_NOTICE to this code part, do you want me to add this to CHANGES, do you want me to add a LOG_NOTICE or VERBOSE whenever such a rtpmap is included/send by Asterisk in SIP/SDP?
