The trace feature on the SNOM is nice. With any phone that offers a syslog option you can point it to your PC and do wireshark on it.
I prefer Grandstream because the GXP-2020 can have six sip accounts registered. and it is very easy to configure. Do any of the models of SNOM have 6 or more sip accounts? I would be interested in that model to set beside my GS model as well. Can never have too many different units to test against.
It hasn`t changed much. The newer version have a "update config" option,
but the "update" is so long you might as well reboot.

On the other hand, remote provisioning is amazingly flexible with Polycom,
which is why I buy them.
Assuming the OP really meant "easily reconfigurable," not "programmable," I
definitely agree with you. Snom absolutely takes the cake on this; you
just put new values into the settings for a line appearance, click
Apply/OK/whatever, and they take effect in real time.

The absolute dead-worst at this is Polycom, although that may be an ignorant
statement since I'm not familiar with their last few models after the 501.
But on the 501 and the 330, any settings change, no matter how trivial,
requires a complete reboot, and the reboot cycle is long. Very long. And
even after the phone appears to come back up, its web interface is not
accessible again for another few minutes thereafter. Cisco 79xx with SIP
image is similar.
