Actually, that term was standard within AT&T. Gold numbers ended in 00, platinum in 000. Silver had some other pattern to make it easy to remeber. They had a whole division that studied what numbers were considered lucky or easy to remember in different cultures and ethnic groups. Sorry if someone pointed that out already.<br>
