Maybe there is a friend or company you can tailgate to get your experience? I
like many others don’t even consider certs, they are nice to have but I
would hire someone with 3 years experience more than 3 certifications. If you
can gain knowledge on someone else’s dime would be where you can REALLY
get the “know how” you want. If your brave and want to dive right

you'll likely get sucked into the Cisco Matrix. That's a very difficult
cert to acquire and I don't know any CCIE, and I've worked with a few, that
didn't spen at least 3 years to get it. And that's after working in the
field for at least three years prior. I would put a third option on the
table. Experience. That's what clients want. Stories of
success are always good too.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
