Hello, <br><br>I have a question about Digium's policy around the commercialisation of services built over the Asterisk platform. <br><br>We are thinking about building a set of services on top of the Asterisk platform and selling them. We are now in trouble analyzing Digium's policy.
<br>We plan to set up service platforms (specific configuration files, maybe modules) and either :<br>- sell them as a hosted service,<br>- operate them in our client's network,<br>- distribute software we programmed on top of Asterisk.
<br><br>In each cases, do we owe something to Digium ? Do we have to pay any license to Digium (we will of course respect Digium's Trademark policy) as we may only build our services on the GPL'ed version of Asterisk ?<br>
<br>How will this evolve in the future ? Will Digium change its policy about Asterisk ? <br><br>Thank you in advance,<br><br>Antoine
