Hello,
On behalf of Evariste Systems, I am pleased to announce a new release of
our CSRP platform.
CSRP is a Kamailio and PostgreSQL-based LCR (Least Cost Routing),
accounting and real-time rating platform designed for ITSPs who provide
PSTN origination and termination. It incorporates three pillars:
1) Business-layer functionality, such as sophisticated LCR capabilities
(including profit-margin protection), LNP (local number portability) dip
support, external CNAM delivery support, real-time rating of CDRs (both
retail rating and vendor costing), concurrent channel limiting, and
prepaid credit.
2) Some SBC-like technical capabilities needed to manage a variety of
PBX endpoints, such as far-end NAT traversal + optional RTP relay, as
well as an integrated SIP registrar.
3) A strong engineering emphasis on high performance and throughput,
making the product suitable for high-volume environments such as dialers
and call center / lead generation routing. Many of CSRP's technical
characteristics were shaped by the requirements of extremely high-volume
dialers who needed an intelligent business layer without sacrificing
high performance.
Simply put, CSRP is a feature-rich, high-performance, affordably priced
SIP trunking box.
Traditional mainstays of CSRP include:
- High-performance least cost routing (can handle fast lookups on
hundreds of millions of prefixes).
- Profit margin protection in LCR.
- Flexible LCR (multiple vendor termination group support).
- Flexible termination rating (multiple rate plan support).
- Support for intra/inter-jurisdictional rating (for interstate and
intrastate rates or similar, can also be used to craft "unlimited" local
calling areas).
- Asynchronous LNP dip support (via SIP redirect).
- Concurrent channel limits.
- Real-time call accounting and rating, for both retail and vendor costs.
- Static IP and registration support, and fast failover among customer
gateways on inbound calls.
- Far-end NAT traversal and media relay support.
Some new features in this release, especially geared for better
accommodation of retail SIP trunking offerings (an improvement over
CSRP's largely wholesale heritage):
- An all-new administration GUI.
- A new JSON API.
- Improved vendor deck import capabilities.
- A robust caching layer for LNP and CNAM values.
- Support for delivery of external, asynchronous CNAM on origination
(via SIP redirect).
- Minute package support.
- Fixed and variable surcharge support (USF taxation ready).
- PSTN call forwarding via integrated B2BUA.
- Voicemail backup.
- Improved route performance data collection and reporting.
