Yeah, The carriers you are referring to you can offer a very small footprint
(40-50k npa/nxx's) containing most all wireless codes and a handful of
landline npa/nxx's mostly from ATT and Verizon. Most of the wholesale
carriers like Peerless or Hypercube are selling lower cost wireless
npa/nxx's at .0012-.003/minute. Now you know the markup.  :).They are making
over 100% profit on you.

One would presume they are getting it cheaper and making a profit on it...
