Agreed. Haste makes waste, and things can be written in the same way but
have totally different meanings, but the Adtran "conspiracy" is very real.
I was told by a former Digium employee that Adtran was a major investor in
Digium, along with Mark's parents. The old code ONLY supported Adtran
equipment in it's intfancy. All hearsay, and taken as such. I am still
trying to get a hold of Asterisk .3 which supposedly was totally geared for
Adtran. If so, READMEs and comments in the code might be pretty
interesting.
Then the migration of the the top brass at Adtran to Digium confirmed there
had to be something to the hearsay.
