[asterisk-biz] proper analog behavior using an ATA

I've been doing a little work with the Linksys PAP2, firmware 3.1.5(LS), but have not been able to get it to pass caller if to analog phones or perform properly with the flash key.
I understand why the caller id does not pass as the analog phones expect a CID data burst as what comes in from Telco and the PAP does not do this but no matter what I do the flash timing fails.
Have you worked with this model? Should I forget it and go to the spa2102 for total success? Has the spa2102 passed caller id to analog phones for you?
Thanks,
Jim

Personally I prefer to use linksys SPA2102, i have a pretty big
experience with this device. It works good for me and has a lot of
settings for tuning. The main drawback - is a lack of solid documentation.
For 1-4 fxs ports i use spa2102, for 5-16 fxs ports - spa8000 and for
more then 16 fxs ports i prefer to use Quintum AX.
