I always found that the receiving machine and line quality were a major
problem with larger faxes. You can buy the best machine available and be
across the street from the CO but if you need to send a 31 page document
to various recipients, expect problems. Watch out for machines and
software that automatically retry after a partial delivery. I remember
getting several copies of the first few pages when I had an incoming
paper fax machine. It's very annoying.
