Video is cool but I really do not see it taking any real piece of the
telephony market. I see it more as a novelty item.
Corporations are using more and more email and instant messaging for
communications. On one hand, I think most people would like to see the
person they are talking to but on the other, they probably don't care to
be seen themselves.
I could see very young people being attracted to video but I certainly
wouldn't go so far as to say "the next generation of telephony will be
visual driven"
