advertisements at blog.voipsupply.com, but I could see opening up ad space
for those who contribute to the blog. So in exchange for posting, we give
you a space for a banner or text ad back to your respective site.

Nice idea to build up more traffic and ad revenue from google, but how 
does that help the blogger monetarily ?

He can any ways blog about the topic from his own blogging site and if 
topic is unique then google is bound to index him.
