Hi list, wanted your answer on this:

Due to the open source nature of Asterisk is it true that any module,
interface or added value feature that is attractive to a large population of
users MUST be released for others to use?  (I don't think this is right but
was forced to pose this question in order to belay any fears of having my
client give up their proprietary developments)
