[Asterisk-biz] Linksys SPA-941 Now Taking Pre-Orders

We noticed that too. Which brings up the question: do the phones only do
SIP or do they also do SCCP (Skinny) and other VoIP protocols? We use
Asterisk in a lot of places but our main call control is via a set of
Vocal Data servers (now owned by Tekelec).

I'm sure that Cisco is supporting Asterisk to the point that they
support the SIP standard. But really Asterisk development is so much
faster than Cisco's that Asterisk has already adapted to use most of
Cisco's hardware.

I wouldn't look to Cisco to adapt to Asterisk. :-)
