[Asterisk-biz] success stories?

After about 1 week, my spa-841 would not obtain a DHCP IP. My protocol analyzer shows that the spa-841 sends a Discover packet, the DHCP server Offers an IP, but the spa-841 does not respond with the "Request". The spa-841 stays stuck in "initializing network". Spa-841 does not respond using a static IP either. Emailed Sipura but no response...VOIPSUPPLY.com did respond and is offering a RMA.....my buttons stick also.

What do you mean by "We have our own phones developed"? Are you
  speaking of a soft-phone or a hard-phone? If hard-phone, exactly how
did you go about 'developing' your own?

I've mentioned on the -users list in the past the idea of 'building' a
phone using extremely low-end ($$$-wise) pc equipment with tiny,
  low-resolution LCD's to produce a soft-phone based hard-phone.

I would love to know what you did to 'develop' your own phone :)

  -Chris
