In fact you should buy a HuaWei Access Server, all telco in China use that
for a portion of Cisco price but the quality is the same, at least.

Have you done any research on what Asterisk is? It is a VoIP PBX, not a
remote access server. Unless you're talking about some sort of voice
gateway,
you need to be looking somewhere else. Asterisk is not a modem pool.
