The location of DigiumChina is a popular area for counterfeitters.  Due 
to their success and the relative retail value of their products, Digium 
will likely see some attempts by Chinese manufacturers to counterfeit 
their products.  I hope it does not occur, but it has happened to a lot 
of technology vendors in recent years, including Cisco and 3COM. 

A few years ago the US market began to be flooded by countereitted Cisco 
routers and accessories like WIC and NM modules.  This product was 
passable as genuine, but tended to have a very high failure rate due to 
inferior components and low manufacturing standards.
