It's in the debian distro. I believe debian is the distro that is most
attentive to license issues. They are the ones who leave out the "free"
MOH that comes with asterisk because they don't believe it's really
free. If there were serious doubts about mysql it would not be in the
debian main section. It would be in non-free.

I have mysql 5 packages built for debian stable(aka sarge) on sale
today. $0 per machine plus $0 per user licensing :)
