[Asterisk-biz] Asterisk and XML Applications

Im not just looking for voicemailxml, any kind of ip phone besides cisco
that can support asterisk driven xml apps or outside asterisk apps, just
need to knoe if it can be done and what has been done.

For example, if phone X or Y can have a directory based on xml that loads
when the phone starts. Ah! Then I can surely code something in PHP, etc,
that can maintain the directory via web and create the xml files :)

See where Im going?

|There are some phones out there that claim to be able to do 
|xml applications and I was wondering if anybody has actually 
|been able to develop some for Asterisk using phones like 
|polycom, cisco, etc.
