I don't fully understand the full SS7 "world", but one think I'm sure 
about is that if you're going to be part of a SS7 signaling network, you

should learn a little about it, it needs much deeper knowledge than 
having a pair of E1s with EuroISDN. Take a look at "Signaling System 
#7", by Travis Rusell.
