IMHO, reading the RFC2833, I believe the Asterisk support for RFC2833 is 
incomplete. Take a look at my bug report:

Looking at the rtp.c senddigit code, it looks like someone started doing 
something with timestamps but forgot about it. calc_txstamp() / pred.
