[Dundi] about asterisk Fault tolerance

Hi

I got this link and I started thinking about the asterisk fault tolerance need.
Here I am not going to write or ask anything about the DUNDI.

I have seen some comments on the open AIS on the net for providing the
fault tolerance
support to the asterisk. And I have downloaded the OpenAIS from the
opensource and installed
it, though it is ruuning fine but i have not got any clue to integrate
the asterisk to this.

What I think:-
The main purpose is to save the existing calls during the asterisk
failure. This can be achieve only by replicating the call-leg , codecs
and other relevent data to some shared place. and using the heartbeat
concept and stand by concept protect the existing calls

BUt I need some exact information and tips for doing this
