Carl,

Try looking at the forums... Forums http://forums.digium.com

Process to get Asterisk now working.

I am installing the beta from ISO image.

Rebooting after the install is finished

I then use putty to SSH in and run through the following -

sudo svn co http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk-gui/branches/asterisknow ast-gui
cd ast-gui
sudo sh configure && sudo make && sudo make samples && sudo make install && sudo make checkconfig

Rebooting when I am done

I log in through firefox (IE will not work) , answer just the basic questions, and then setup the service provider, outgoing call rules, and incoming call rules

(To get outgoing local calls to work, I look for 9 followed by 7 digits, I strip the 1st digit (9) and prepend 1910, works great.

Brandon

The AsteriskNOW Discussion list.

I've started to read the documentation and will install it later
this afternoon. Hopefully this will be rather painless.
