Hi Hemanshu, thank you for your help. You are right. It also support h264. I tried it using a video phone that I acquired recently. The problem is with synchronization. The audio and video are unsynchronized. Also, when I used x-lite h263+ doesn't work. Only h263 works. I don't know the problem. It created teh following error codes when recording starts but the file is then properly played. Can you tell me what is the problem please.

Hi Hemanshu, thank you for your response. I think the application doesn't work with h264. I allowed h263 and/or h263+. But even in the absence of video, it creates the file (with ulaw codec) but I can hear nothing when i play the file using VLC. What could be the reason?
Hi all, I had used the mp4play and mp4save applications in Asterisk 1.4.21.2. Recently I had downloaded the above mentioned (1.4.26) version from Asterisk website and installed it together with the MP4 application package. However, when i try to use the save function, if there is no audio, it creates the file though there is no sound heard when i play it in vlc. But, when I use video, it produces teh following error message and the file created will contain video. I used mp4info to check the type of content.
Are there issues related to sound with mp4 application and also with Asterisk version 1.4.26? Please advice me what to do. Even when i record audio only I get no sound while the status bar is moving in VLC.
