[Asterisk-video] How to get Device IMEI

The vendorId indication is a h245 message sent by the terminal during the nogitation pashe, it has the following parameters:
H245_NonStandardIdentifier m_vendor;
PASN_OctetString m_productNumber;
PASN_OctetString m_versionNumber;
But i believe this message is even mandatory, and as Ratmin says can be setup to whatever the vendor wishes.
Nevertheless it could be used to gather some statistics.

Ok, I see. Thank you J
But keep in mind that even a few usable information about handsets give us the opportunity to generate statistics.
The question is whether it is generally not supported by the H.324m standard or if this is a side effect of the used h323 lib in h324m_gw ?

I dont think it is implemented in sergio's h324_gw since it is not really usefull information... even tho it would take two lines or so to add it...
but just keep in mind that it is NOT ALWAYS there since it's optionnal
in the H245.asn, it's the VendorID that gives u the country code of the vendor ID, and sometimes the Firmware of the phone.. like for nokias
but some other have crap like "1234"...

Hmm,
the type/brand of the device is all we need J Is that actually implemented for the h324m_gw ?

Hi
No, unfortunatelly, all you can know is the device type/brand in some cases if it is in the VendorId... but you can't in any way get more info...
Best Regards,

Hi Guys,
we @ViiF wonder whether we can get the IMEI of a mobile device during a H324m call ?
