Could it be due to the version ubuntu?<br>
Tried to put the asterisk 11 with ubuntu 10.04 - the same error
occurs intermittently.<br>

Try upgrading asterisk to 1.8.26.1 that is the latest release in
the 1.8-series. You are hitting a bug somewhere and odds are that
it is already resolved in a later version.
