I had the same problem in the past and I've found that there was
already an echo.ko module built in my kernel module folder. <br>
I've renamed it and replaced with the one compiled with
dahdi+oslec and it started working as expected.<br>
<br>
I was on OpenSuse with kernel 2.6.27.56-0.1... it's very old so I
can't tell you if this is something true for Debian 6.06 too.<br>
