<p>Chris, I am running 8 spans on a few servers. It is when you go beyond that. If anyone is running 9 or more spans successfully, please let us know their configuration, it'll be very helpful.</p>

I don't believe that there is a hard limit of E1s coded into Asterisk.<br>
