Hello,<br><br>I am revising this issue again because I am looking to upgrade to the latest 1.4 Asterisk. When I recompiled, I again, lost my conference rooms because the chan_zap was not available in the make menuconfig. <br>

Maybe that was the problem. I tried installing both (at one point I tried upgrading the GUI and I remember seeing something mentioning that the new GUI needed dahdi. I haven't yet upgraded the gui, but I guess it's pointless now since my install relies upon the zaptel framework. Unless there's another way to keep an upgrade path (without completely rebuilding the entire PBX).<div>
