I totally agree with you Jeff, however some of us do not actually sell
viagra over the phone.<br>This is a campaign to spread a message to the
population about the health prevention steps that should be taken in order to prevent diseases that are affecting our population.<br><br>I do understand all of you to be reluctant to help with this post. However "judging before listening" has been the most devastating problem humans have. We simply do not trust each other.<br>
<br>However, just for the sake of posterity:<br><br>Hardware/Software<br>just one server Dell 2950 / 4GB RAM / four 72Gb ultra320 SCSI hard disks built as RAID-0<br>Debian as the OS (in 32 bit mode)<br>Asterisk 32 bit 1.4 compiled manually (codecs removed, modules removed,etc, a ton of pure CRAP out!)<br>
Only g711/SIP was used<br>20 second clip was served from ramdisk<br>Dialer: <font size="2" face="Courier New"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Courier New";">SmoothTorque (those guys simply ROCK!)( setup outbound mode ONLY!)<br>
<br>Network:<br>50 Mbit fiber link to telco provider. Pure IP, no QoS.<br></span></font> <br>We were pumping 3k calls-setup/second to the session controller at telco's side. Until we reached controller's max of 10k calls.<br>
