asterisk can provide more, and its implementations of such items are<br>
more time tested. One of freeswitch's big strengths is its ability to<br>
handle many SIP registrations. This is not asterisk's strength (at<br>
least not historically). One of Asterisk's big strengths is its<br>
multitude of services and features. This is not freeswitch's<br>
strength. Combine freeswitch and asterisk to get the best of both<br>
worlds.<br>
