I am using a PBX in my house built on the Intel Atom 330 dual core.

Here is a review of it.
http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardware/Reviews/D945GCLF2_atom_330/

The only problem I had was the network card driver built into CentOS 5.2 didn't recognize the correct model of the card. After I downloaded the correct driver from Realtec, it worked fine. I think the new Centos kernel has the newer driver built in.

I will never install anything called "Linpus", lol, that might be
worst name for a distro I have ever heard.

I am watching some Fedora and CentOS threads, I want everything to
work, last I checked, the onboard video cam and the wireless NIC was
sort of working or not working.

Snagged it off Ebay for $300 even after M$ Cashback 30% deal and
retired a Dell 600m that had a cracked screen and the fan flaked out
so it would only run at 600mhz. Not sure whether it is even worth
repurposing except for the memory and HD.

Single Unit Uitx 945G ATOM330 for a dual core, mobo, PCI slots for
~$82 plus shipping.

I am really trying not to spend with things the way they are but that
is hard to resist.

Apologies for anyone offended for me posting a link to a good deal
that I have absolutely no affiliation with.
