<br><br>What the start.date=&quot;8&quot; does is tell the phone to start DST on the first start.dayOfWeek it finds after the start.date. So in this case, we&#39;re telling it to start DST on the first Sunday (&quot;1&quot;) after the 8th of March (making it the second Sunday in March).
