I got started by experimenting for a replacement to the companies pbx, was sent to a boot camp and certified after several months of learning and have now implemented the system. Eventually it will come down to all of the IT staff being cross trained on how do do most of the maintance on *. On the side I'm working to consult with SMB's wanting more out of their phone systems.
