Has anyone tried to set Message Waiting Indicators up when public network access and voicemail service are managed by an Asterisk server TDM-connected to a legacy PBX serving analog and digital phones ?<br><br>For instance:
<br><br>Location 1:<br>- 200 users on a legacy PBX<br>- among those users, 50 have access to voicemail service<br>- TDM trunk to Location 2<br><br>Location 2:<br>- 100 users on Asterisk<br>- PSTN access<br>- TDM trunk to Location 1
<br><br>Does it make any sense to service all 300 users with MWI from the * server ?<br>How does it work ?<br>How could you light legacy PBX phones from Astrisk voicemail ?<br><br>Regards<br>
