external program you will have a delay on lamp status notification and a
overloaded server, manager applications are really cpu power

little program or web application for the operator's PC that shows the
extension, name, busy status, new voice-mail count, etc? Or you could
have it done by a consultant. In the long run, it will probably be less
hassle, cheaper, and much more functional than what you're
