* Is there any relation between this problem and a soundcard in the
system?
* Remember that it does not always happen (e.g. when is start asterisk
with -vvvgc there is a big change that the errors occur. When starting
with -c it does not always happen)
Subject: [Asterisk-Users] .:. .: .. .Stottering audio ??
Importance: High

Installed Asterisk on Redhat 9.0 - and not channeled to PSTN/PLMN
networks (no XP100 or special hardware) yet

When I use * with a softphone (SIP) - Asterisk answers the call but
voicemail or other playbacks are STOTTERING for the first 30 secs
(approx.)It happens more often when I start Asterisk with -vvvgc (less
in -c). Following message displayed (loads of them!)

Does anyone know where the problem is - what am I doing wrong or is it
a

known bug?

Thanks in advance!
